“KLUB SEPAK BOLA : KESID PUTRA FC”

Kesid Putra FC merupakan Klub sepak bola yang berasal dari desa Sidomukti, sebuah desa di Kecamatan Sekampung Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Walaupun tim sepak bola ini berasal dari desa tetapi sudah banyak menorehkan prestasi kebanggaan untuk desa itu sendiri. Salah satunya pernah menjadi juara 2 sayembara Trimurjo pada tahun 2012, juara satu liga se-Kecamatan Sekampung 2012-2013, juara 1 2016, juara 2 2017 liga sekecamatan Sekampung Barat, juara 1 kompetisi antar desa tahun 2010, dan masih banyak lagi torehan prestasi lainnya. Pemain dari tim ini mayoritas pelajar SMA, yang mencintai sepak bola. Umur para pemain berkisar antara 15-25 tahun. Sampai sekarang pemain yang masih aktif sekitar 15-20 orang, sebagian dari mereka yang sudah selesai sekolah memutuskan untuk bekerja dan tidak aktif dalam klub ini. Klub sepak bola ini berdiri sejak tahun 1985, dan klub sepak bola Kesid Putra FC ini merupakan generasi ketiga yang masih aktif dalam latihan dan perlombaan. Tujuan diberi nama “Kesid Putra FC” yaitu melihat dari latar belakang para pemainnya yang gesid dalam mengumpan dan mengambil bola, sehingga muncullah ide diberikannya nama Kesid Putra FC. Latihan dilakukan setiap sore hari di lapangan desa setempat. Dan tahun ini mereka menjadi tuan rumah penyelenggaraan kompetisi sepak boola se-Kecamatan Sekampung. Dalam turnamen sepak bola ini tentunya mereka berharap agar memperoleh juara seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
