TAHU!!!! siapa yang tidak kenal dengan tahu, makanan ini sangat populer bagi warga Indonesia, rasanya yang khas membuat masyarakat sangat menyukainya. Tahu merupakan makanan yang sangat bergizi dan kaya akan protein, tidak heran jika masyarakat sangat gemar akan makanan ini. Selain karena bergizi harganya yang terjangkau membuat semua masyarakat dengan mudah dapat membelinya. Tahu merupakan makanan yang terbuat dari kedelai yang telah direndam kurang lebih selama 6 jam, kemudian digiling untuk selanjutnya direbus hingga mendidih, lalu disaring untuk mencari sarinya yang akan dicetak menjadi tahu.
Mengapa tahu Punggur sangat khas? Selain karena harganya terjangkau, tahu ini juga menggunakan bahan alami dalam proses pembuatannya, sehingga sangat aman untuk dikonsumsi. Jika di kota-kota besar pembuatan tahu menggunakan bahan pengawet, tahu Punggur ini bebas dari bahan pengawet. Banyaknya peminat tahu membuat punggur menjadi sentral tahu, tentunya tiap-tiap pabrik mempunyai tekhnik sendiri untuk membuat tahu. Salah satunya pabrik yang terletak di desa Sidorahayu ini, yaitu pabrik milik Bapak Mujahidin. Mereka membuat tahu dengan cara menggunakan uap, cara ini dirasa cukup efektif karena tahu yang dihasilkan cukup baik.
Tahu Punggur ini ada tiga jenis, yaitu tahu putih, tahu kuning dan tahu kempong. Dalam penggunaan warna kuning pada tahu ini tentunya juga menggunakan pewarna alami yaitu kunyit. Wah… Tentunya sangat aman ya untuk dikonsumsi dan juga dijamin halal. Dengan harga mulai dari 2000 rupiah anda sudah dapat menikmatinya.
