BONO (Bocah Nol)

Cerita pagi yang selalu begini tak pernah lupa akan mentari hari pun mengejar
Pagi itu Bono sebut saja aku seperti itu, sedang mencoba berlari mengejar mimpi yang tak kunjung mengampiri. Mimpi yang selalu menghantui setiap pagi cerahku. Mimpi yang selalu mengakar tunjang di dalam otak nakalku. Seandainya mimpi itu anjing jalanan mungkin ia sudah menggonggong keras tak perdulikan alam sekitar.
Namaku memang Bono, itu kenapa, karena ayahku dulu penggemar film James Bond. Kenapa Bono, karena kata ayahku aku ini James Bond-nya orang Jowo (Jawa). Memang aku kurus dan terlihat lincah layaknya James Bond, akan tetapi otakku yang sepertinya jauh dari James Bond yang super cerdik.
Pagi itu kulangkahkan kakiku kesebuah jawatan dan berharap dapat sebuah pekerjaan. Pekerjaan yang bisa menyambung hidup dan mengangkat derajatku dari pengangguran menjadi seorang pekerja kantoran. Yang dahulu hanya berpakaian comprang, sekarang berharap bisa bergaya kantoran. Tetapi semua itu sirna di perkataan akhir sang pemilik jawatan yang menolakku karena ijazahku tidak sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Mereka butuh seorang ahli komputer yang mampun mengendalikan bisnis on-line mereka. Sedangkan aku hanya anak lulusan SMK jurusan otomotif, yang pengalaman kerjannya sangat minim sekali.
Hari itu matahari mulai mengejekku, dengan terus menjulurkan lidah genit nan panasnya. Seakan terus meludahiku dengan bara panasnya. Bahkan sang air kringatpun sudah jengah menemani di dalam tubuhku, mereka berlari keluar seraya jijik menempel di tubuhku.
Aku harus membakar semangatku untuk tetap melangkah menggapai mimpi. Merangkai sarang layaknya sriti, sarang emas yang mahal harganya. Kulangkahkan kaki lagi menuju warung kecil berjualan makanan kampung seperti: gudeg, sayur lodeh, sayur tempe, aneka minuman, dan gorengan. Sejenak kulepaskan lelah dengan meneguk secangkir kopi dan memakan sepotong pisang goreng. Tiba-tiba datang seorang laki-laki bertubuh kekar dan atletis tapi sayang bau tubuhnya menyengat seperti selokan yang tersumbat. Hueeekkk!!!!
Laki-laki itu berkata kepada pemilik warung, “Bu ada info anak laki-laki yang mau bekerja di Pabrik ku tidak?”
“Kerja apa mas?”, tanya pemilik warung balik.
“Jadi operator mesin penggiling beras”, jawab laki-laki tadi.
Hatiku pun berdegub kencang ketika mendengar berita tersebut. Berharap jadi peluang yang baik pada hari ini. Ternya meski badanya bau, tetapi informasinya sangat mewangi layaknya minyak kasturi. Kebetulan aku adalah ahli dalam mengoprasikan mesin penggiling beras, karena dahulu waktu Praktek Kerja Lapangan aku bekerja di pabri penggilingan beras.
Singkat kata kucoba menawarkan diri.
“Maaf Pak; butuh berapa orang ya??”, tanyaku dengan sedikit memelas.
“Kamu bisa mas?”, jawab laki-laki yang bertubuh kekar tadi.
“Saya bisa pak, saya pernah bekerja di pabrik penggilingan beras”, jawab saya.
“Ya sudah sekarang ikut saya dan nanti saya kenalkan dengan bos saya”, ajak laki-laki itu.
Kemudia kamu berdua pun pergi menuju ke sebuah pabrik penggilingan beras. Di sana saya dipertmukan dengan seorang bos yang gendut badannya. Namanya pak Tino, dia adalah pemilik ke dua dari pabrik ini. Kemudian saya ditanya seputar mesin penggiling beras, dan dengan mudahnya saya menjawab semua pertanyaannya. Akhirnya saya diterima di pabrik tersebut sebagai tenaga harian lepas. Lumayan bisa buat tambahan, dan sekarang statusku juga sudah berubah dari pengangguran menjadi pekerja pabrik.
Di pabrik itu saya digaji sesuai Upah Minimun Regional yang ada. Sekarang saya sudah bisa menabung dan membeli peralatan hidup sendiri, tanpa merepotkan orang tua lagi.
Di suatu pagi yang cerah, sekarang saya sudah bisa berdiri tegak menatap matahari. Yang dahulu selalu mengejekku sekarang gantian aku yang mengejeknya. Ku kenakan kaca mata hitap anti cahaya matahari, seraya berkata aku sudah tak butuh matahari lagi. Sedangkan pada sang keringat yang dahulu jijik menempel di tubuh, sekarang sudah tak ada lagi itu. Kebetulan di kantor tempatku bekerja ada Air Conditioner (AC)-nya. Jadi selamat tinggal keringat yang sudah enggan menempel di tubuhku lagi.
Aku sekarang jadi pemuda yang sudah bisa melenggang tegak. Keluar pagi sudah berbadan wangi, senyum cemerlang sudah tergambar indah. Sudah bisa menampar matahari dengan kacamata hitamku.
Untuk masa depanku pun sudah kurencanakan untuk meminang seorang gadis cantik di desaku. Orang tuaku pun setuju dengan gadis pilihanku. Gadis itupun anak pak kepala desa, dimana banyak jejaka berebut untuk mendapatkannya. Semua saudara-saudara dari orang tuaku pun sudah dikabari bahwa aku akan segera meminang seorang gadis.
Seperti udara yang berhembus dari tempat yang bertekanan tinggi ke tempat bertekanan rendah. Tiba-tiba terdengar berita bahwa pabrik tempatku bekerja mengalami kebakaran hebat, yang mana mengakibatkan kerugian perusahaan yang sangat banyak. Yang akhirnya berimbas pada kehidupanku juga. Aku dipecat dari perusahaanku dan sekarang jadi pengangguran lagi. Padahal hari acara pertunanganku sudah semakin dekat.
Sungguh ujian yang sangat berat yang sedang aku alami. Tidak hanya namaku yang dipertaruhkan, akan tetapi nama besar keluargaku pun terancam dipermalukan atas hal ini. Aku pun depresi sungguh sangat tak kuat aku menghadapinya. Aku gila dan aku putuskan untuk mengakhiri hidupku dengan menggantungkan leherku di pohon besar yang ada di belakang rumahku.
Semoga aku yang terakhir mengalami hal yang seperti ini dan berharap tidak ada lagi orang-orang seperti ku ini. Marilah kawan manfaatkan masa mudamu dengan segala prestasi yang membanggakan. Jangan seperti saya yang teragis mengakhiri hidup tanpa malu mempertanggungjawabkannya.
